Russian poultry production: The vectors of development

Summary: The recent monograph by Academician V.I. Fisinin “World and Russian Poultry Farming: Realities and Challenges of the Future” is reviewed. The book can help readers in understanding the future trends in the development of Russian poultry pro­duction and the place of the latter in the global poultry farming. The monograph also outlined the contribution of Russian poultry scientists and scientific schools to the advancement of poultry related technologies; the activity of World's Poultry Science Association is highlighted.
